We were going to an Italian Restaurant where there is a singer on who does old `Rat Pack` songs, would have been a good night but OH got flu so had to cancel, so much for doing something different this year!

So, its just one or two Baileys and glasses of wine and a night in front of the telly, Will make up for it next year!!!

How funny, same as me then! As much as i hate the word "Hate" i hate NYE with a vengence! I get all maudlin and melancholy and i am best left on my own except for Jules Holland! He and i have spent many NYE's together.

I think I might dance around my living room singing " Knees Up Mother Brown " at the top of my voice ( having drunk to much obviously ) ..... that should keep any would be burglars at bay ....lol

I miss the 'White Heather Club' New Years eves of my infancy!!

I shall be at home, alone, with my 3 cats locked in - as one gets really upset by fireworks.

I used to love NYE ,best night of the yr !

..Until my mum had a heart attack or stroke ( she had quite a few don't want to remember which it was) dad wouldn't phone us cos he knew we'd have had a drink, spent the night in hosp with mum 'sleeping' on a chair then walked 2 miles to my aunt's ( he was in his 70s with athritis) ,my uncle was teetotal,so he knew he could get a lift home. Can't foget it !

Will probably have a few vinos with hubby watching what trash is on the tele, may even have a few more to see the first footer, my black haired son over the door...have to wait a few hours for that tho lol..he's 22 ,single and unattached.
Oh yeah as Maggie said..fireworks..if no fog ,will watch them too, no moggies or dogs to upset in our house.

Like many I shall be doing nothing,
OH is working so probably won't get home till 4am, my mutts will be quivering in the corner at 12 when the fireworks go off and I shall be sat here alone *sobs*

The husband hasnt been up once to see me or ask me how I am!! I have just enough energy to go downsatirs and get myself a drink and some food....Havent seen a decent meal in nearly 10days!!

He goes out everyday, dont really know where, to the gym I think....Doc thinks I have swine flu even though Ihave had my jab!! Im on antibiotics as she also says I have sinus infction, throat infection, swollen glands and high temp and to cap it off I have a stinking cold on top of it!!!

But apart from all that im fine lol xxxx
