put down in back garden to stop me babies bring mud in on there feet back garden has been water logged drainage is awfull, but its worse there now bring in like a chalky foot print and it white and coveing the living room floor , anyone had this problem im hoping its some residue of the stones x |

Have found when buying stones/pebbles that they do have a residue on them that needs washing off first. The chalk will eventually be washed off and sink into the ground. .If you have adequate drainage it may be worth putting the hose on it |

omg hopefully non will come in the garden cause of the doghs lol, drainage is poor and only goes down 2 inches then its concrete hence fruit trees round the perimiter hope the cats stop going to the loo on yours xx |

A chalky deposit is easier to vacuum up than a muddy (or whatever!!) deposit. |

Morning, Sounds like it is the chalk off your stones but I dont have pebbles, but do have a chalky white residue im forever vacuuming up this past ten days or so. I put it down to salt people have been putting on thier paths to melt the ice being walked into the house- all my cats have been a bit poorly and I guess thats down to them licking salt off their paws. Ive just made sure there is plently of fresh water down all the time for them to drink. |
