Firstly happy new year to all, and a happy birthday to every racehorse in Britain, as new years day is their birthday.

This is my favourite New years Quote from King George v1 and in turn Minnie Haskins.

I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year, "give me light that I may tread softly into the unknown", and he replied "go into the darkness and put your hand in the hands of god. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way".
