I would imagine that GR/FMP had to fork out quite a bit to get the census so early, that's probably why they charge extra at the moment to cover the costs. |

Not sure but I think the 1911 on Ancestry will only be the transcribed version. I don't think you will be able to view the original census papers. |

I have only read so far that the 1911 is in the platinum membership. 1911 can also be accessed in the original 1911 site and in the find my past site. |

True, Ancestry has the 1911 Census summary books for their members. To get 1911 Census in GR looks like one has to pay full membership at the Platinum level. Would there be a discount if one upgrades from Gold? |
