Ready made meals from supermarkets and particularly so-called
"convenience" foods, what a con and a rip off. For example
Oven chips and ready made roast potatoes. Fish fingers and other frozen battered fish. Frozen yorkshire puddings. White sliced bread. Frozen pizza. The list goes on and on.
And not to forget anything sold in that high street frozen food shop that particularly lazy mums go to.

Then you are not a careful shopper, Harry! Buy what you went for is my motto. There are many things that are overpriced. Shhoddily made clothes, mad from cheap materials for one.

What things in life are overpriced?. In the shops, or if you are in a philosophical mood, in life generally.

I think the biggest racket is in things like cold sore creams. Must cost all of fifty pence to make but you pay £3 or over for them

Happy days

"The chance of going into a shop for a loaf of bread and coming out with just a loaf of bread is 3 billion to one."
