Yes, very sad news about Gerry Rafferty .

Stealers Wheel, 1972, Stuck in the Middle.....brings back some lovely memories, as does his 1978 hit, Baker Street.
Apparently he earned something like £120,000 in royalties each year.

I remember him too, sad that he died so young but abusing your body is not a good idea, far too many people who are talented waste their lives on alcohol and drugs and suffer the consequences. Must have been awful for his daughter who was with him as he died.

I remember Steeler's Wheel, Stuck in the Middle, he was the frontsman for that band.

Rest in peace, Gerry. So many stars leaving us, hope they are having a good party together.

in the 1980's, someone in my family did a job for him at his home and they got me his autograph which i still have today and intact.

baker street was so famous with a very distinctive voice. sad he died so young, a talent wasted as they say.
