Well, I've done it. I've finally bought a bike. Under some duress, it must be said....

Visions of yours truly doing a bit of "easy rider" along the coast next weekend spring to mind. Blond hair blowing seductively in the spring breeze, as the seagulls pirouette overhead and the gentle sound of the waves lapping against the shore takes away all the stress of life....

Ah, the lure of the open road...

What do you bet I'll be off the bike and comatose within five yards?

I'd keep off the path if I was you, Mau!

You'll find my first aid kit in my ever-so-useful wicker basket. Don't feel afraid to attempt any kind of life-resuscitating techniques you may be famiiiar with!

Sue (Dennis Hopper, I love you) xx

Maybe the next purchase should be a cycle helmet to tame those tresses and keep your head safe from kerbstones.

Take care, and have fun

My o.h. lost his licence for six months for health reasons, and had to get a bike to get to work as he works on shifts and no buses before 6am.
He has lost lots of weight and quite enjoys the ride to and from work most days, he does use the car if the weather is really bad but mostly cycles. He is too pigheaded to get a helmet tho so just hope he doesn't ever come off and hit his head, his brain isn't the best now and a bang on a hard surface will do it no good at all.

Keep an eye on Lidl online, as they often have a bike week when you can get good accessories and such.
