Dear All

Hello

The original was a hit for Gene Pitney in the 1960's. Marc Almond decided to record it for a new album and Mr Pitney was asked to appear on this.

It received little coverage ast first.

But then Gene and Mark went on the popular Terry Wogan chat show.
They appeared on other shows, including Top of the Pops.

The public were enthralled and the song went to No: 1 in UK for six weeks.

Gene Pitney was one of my idols for a long time when I was younger.

Nice to have a reminder of that song, thanks Elizabeth
