Well, any delusions I may have had of being cool and happening were blown away today when I realized just how delighted I was to find that Morrisons stock ............................................................haricot beans and dried peas. |

When there were three of us at home all eating heartily, I used to buy Haricot beans and make my own beans in tomato sauce. They went down a treat. Not worth doing for us now though, freezer is to small to take extras like that. |

I made Boston beans recently which nobody liked but they do make a good basis for other dishes. OH mixed them in with a packet chasseur mix to use up the leftover turkey.I don't eat meat so don't know what it tasted like but the old man was sucking the sauce off his bib which is usually a good sign. |
