Oh I love fig rolls too, but can never eat just a few, it's often the whole packet which is why I don't buy them too often! Wouldn't want to add butter tho, that's going too far lol |

I like strong cheese and ham in a toasted sandwich, or cheese and apple. Must watch out for stronger Marmite. Never a day passes that I dont have some bead and marmite. We also used to eat condensed milk on bread and butter as children. |

I think the kippers and custard idea came from having scrambled eggs with smoked haddock. It probably was some form of egg custard, mangled by the cooks of the past. Todays forces cooks are well trained. |
