SNOWING HERE

Hello Joan, ours stopped sometime ago, though we can still see it on roof tops. Just hope it does not freeze tonight.
I had made my mind up that I would go out today, and did not want it to stop me. My 'goings out', when they do happen, seem to revolve around medical appointments, just lately.
Not given it out to be too bad here for the weekend, but typical temperatures for this time of the year. Will have to 'rug up', if I manage to get out.

Rained here this morning, stopped about 11.30, since then been very dark, dismal and damp.

had a very exciting morning, a visit to the local dump with lots of large boxes from the loft, got there and realised that OH had forgotten the old TV he was supposed to take. (heartbreaking, two small TVs that work perfectly but wont in a few weeks when we go digital. Talk about a throw away society....) Anyway I digress. We then did the T***c shop which turned out to be a much larger load than I thought I 'needed' because there were lots of lovely things reduced. OH while bemoaning the fact he'd put on weight over Christmas just couldn't resist the thought of a large pork pie for his lunch!!!

Did manage to make a break for it and went to M*****sons. The look on the managers face when OH pulled up, was a picture. Relief for his weekly figures at last LOLOL
Janet, which side of the Pennines are you.
Trying to rain now. Hope it washes all the slush away, because if it freezes, we will be in a mess here.
Hope to get out over the weekend for pleasure shopping.

Take care if you go out, Julia. I think the weather forecast said there was milder air to follow any snow, so hopefully you may get there yet.

Grey, wet and dismal here near the Channel coast.

For the last hour it has been snowing persistantly and heavily here. Does not the person in charge of the precipitous white stuff, realise that it is my M******sons day, and that the manager will be crying into his morning coffee at the thought of myself not being able to show my benevolence in his tills today.
Take care if it is in your part of the country also.
