I always pretend I'm Julia when I'm cooking - I reckon she's the best cook on the boards. If you want any advice, she's your girl. She doesn't use a microwave either. |

BF. Theys Simples. easy peasy to make, you can buy everything you need ,even the Pastry. And Julia, I thought you purchased your goods from the same shop as Auntie Motie, The Famed "Hot Tottie Shop" AKA. the pound shop.:o))))>pmsl.**M**. |

*hangs head in shame. Have never ever cooked a pie in all my life but there is a programme on tv tonight which I intend to watch...'Baking Made Easy'. When next my grandchildren visit, Instead of reaching for a packet of ready mixed cupcakes complete with blue decorations, I shall don pinny and shove my hands in a bowl of flour...and stuff:-)). and pretend I am Julia! lolBC XX |

Merlin the Rascal, by the cringits, I do not use the Pound Shop, in fact we do not have one in these parts, unlike where Aunty Mottie lives. No, I get my cookware from the Cookery Emporium at Denby Pottery, where sometimes the gorgeous James Martin gives a demo. when he is visiting this shire. |

Little Wed Wobin, I think perhaps you are trying to wind me up here, but I will indulge you. When you have cut into your pie dish pastry top, and served this with the filling, the pie funnel is easily removed. It is then washed, and is ready for the next pie LOL |
