Hi Julia, I taped the last one and we watch it every so often, (sad In know). Hope this one does live upto everyones expectations or there'll be a lot of disappointed ladies/girls about. Sadly Joan Furey is divorcing already, the girl who wasnt certain about marrying.

Morning RomanyStar
The programme "Big Fat Gypsy Weddings" is on Channel 4, next Tuesday night at 9.00. It is a 5 parter, run off the programme of last year.
I will be watching, as I thought the original was informative as well as entertaining

I love Four Weddings, Dizzi. Not seen the US one tho. Like Wedding House as well. Wend, no potential ones around yet, think my husband would scare them away! Lol I did have a giggle when I read your post, I can imagine the elder ladies with headscarves on (windy day) being very bemused by it all! Ooh it does sound very novel though.

I agree - so sweet. Any potential princes around yet lol!

Makes me think wistfully about my son and his plans (with his fiancee, of course) for their wedding next year. He was round earlier telling us about them. They want to have it on the Sussex Downs with a 'festival' theme - a very mini Glastonbury sort of thing I suppose. After he'd gone, my hubby and I shook our heads - they really haven't thought about the practicalities of it - toilet facilities, bad weather etc. How are the 96 and 87 yr. old grandmas going to cope, plus all the other older rellies? (including us, ha ha!)

Lol Motown Gal, Im putting my pennies in a glass jar but thinking it might take a bit more than that. (If you see a bedraggled woman selling lucky heather in a street near you , you know who it is lol!)

planning her wedding! She was designing her dress before I insisted she went to bed. Her 5 yr old sister is following suit. She wants a Cinderella carriage, a team of bridesmaids, a princess castle cake with lights on and a dress so big and heavy that she needs help to move!! Think shes been inspired by 'My big fat gypsy wedding', its on again next week I think, we cant wait. xx
