My manager gave me a bottle of wine at christmas.I thought i would have a glass of that tonight.Poured a glass out and i could not stand the smell. Its called Clique 06 Grenache Syrah and it looks like a rose.It smelt of blackcurrant. My family has just said they have filled the bottle up with Ribena? lol Does anyone know what it smells and taste like? Thanks Annie

I don't think we have had that one but some wines do taste/smell of blackcurrant.

Cherry and strawberry flavours, about 24 euros in restaurants in France. Maybe it just isn't to your taste

Hi Annie, I googled and found this on a restaurant wine list, it's French as you said.

CLIQUE
GRENACHE SYRAH 2006 €24.00
Deep red in colour, cherry and strawberry flavours with a hint of spice nice soft finish

Also: have a read on this site, scroll down the page a bit and you will see a pic of the bottle, has a shoe on the label.

It might be good warmed up as cough mixture lol
