Esta, well I have another three years to wait for the 20 year apptmt then lol as I started asking for help in 1994! I have attended every useless appointment with psychologist and psychiatrist and various group sessions that I was offered and still no help, there isn't anyone in our area who deals with my sort of ocd. Even Prof. Paul Salkovskis who I spoke to after I seminar I voluntarily attended, said I had been badly treated by our Mental Health lot but couldn't offer anything himself as I am not in his area!

I am sorry their error has caused you more hassle.
Take care

Can't imagine an apology would help:-( What an incredible breach of privacy. I hope you all get what you need.

Esta, that's really wrong, you must have been so angry.

I wish I had even been offered a cpn all those years back when I first asked for help with my ocd, I wouldn't be stuck in such a dire situation now

Seems a lottery as to who gets help and who doesn't.

Complain in writing to the chief executive officer, this usully works wonders. Do not be fobbed off, I know it can n=be difficult for the CPNs as well as the family but back up mecanisms are available and you should not have to worry about doing their job for them!! Your son also needs to see them!
