I have found that when I do get a match, I just get a message saying it can´t be viewed on the site & referring me to FMP.
I have membership of Ancestry & can´t afford both, so wherever possible I stick to the old IGI.

Morning Ann, I don't like the new style search either.

Thanks to IGP who posted the old site link previously on another thread.

Just because you have the certificates doesn't mean that it is recorded on the IGI.

Also putting in too much info sometimes causes it to return a nul as ALL of what you enter must match - it isn't quite like doing a Google search when only some of your criteria has to match.

If you prefer to use the old site then use this url to go directly to it.

I have not been on familysearch.org for ages and have just been trying to find somebody on there.

Does anyone else think it is more difficult to use now? I much preferred it when it was a simple search, now it is like ancestry and I find myself returning no results hald the time. has anyone else managed to sort out the best was to search on there?

I actually put in a marriage that I had from the old IGI site (have the form in front of me) and it returns no results.
