No not the computer sort. Had one in the house last week. Managed to take it outside, alive. I was recounting the saga to my friend whilst I was at the gym on the machine. One of the ladies, who I didn't know, was listening in and suggested that I got a humane trap where the mice can be taken outside - also there were now special plug-in which emitted a noise we humans couldn't hear but mice could. |

We had an invasion of mice a few years ago.I used the humane traps and released the mice across the road next to the field. |

I have a cat who loves me very much.He likes to keep me well by bringing me fresh food,in the form of rats and mice, sometimes live. I think he may be trying to farm them as well as, on the occasions we have mice,he will catch one downstairs and take it upstairs where he lets it go. |

Thank you all for your suggestions. When I saw the mouse at first I thought it was my imagination. When I realised it was really a mouse I went into panic mode. I rang two neighbours to see if they had a trap but neither had.I rang my friend, who has a cat and she said I could come and collect the cat anytime, but went on to say that the mouse was just a little creature and nothing to be bothered about. I suppose she was right so I decided to call it Pepi. As Pepi ran around the skirting board between the bookcase and the piano, giving it a name didn't make it any better. I decided to shut the room door and go to bed. I got very little sleep. In the morning I rang the council who were quite happy to come out for £85 payable over the phone. I decided I would buy a trap. |

My sister had mice and tried the humane traps. The mice took the food but did not get trapped! |

We evicted a plague of mice that the cat had been nurturing last summer. They went next door.Neighbour set traps and caught nine in one day as I recall. |

When my children were young, we had cats and various hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs, which the cats never touched (presumably because they had our smell on them). |

Do you think that there is a new breed of mouse, who think that they can just stroll into someone home? lol |

We had mice and caught them humanely, then let them go. If they survived they did not come back. |

We had one in the bed room while we went on holiday, when we came back it had eaten a big hole in the wifes easter egg but had left mine alone, guess it did not like Mars chocolate but prefered After eight |
