I am having difficulty trying to find entries for one of my ancestors a Jeremiah Garrard born 1778 Barham,Suffolk. I eventually found the 1841 and 1851 entries after trying various combinations of letters but I can`t find the one for 1861. Could anyone help,please. He was probably still living in Colchester.

1861? Rather to young and listed as a shoemaker. Maria is his sister

I think there appear to be two of the same name born in the same village and presume this is the right one in 1851 (for info)

Could he have died pre 1861? There are two deaths from FreeBMD with the later one looking like the Jeremiah I found in 1861 who would appear not to be yours. The 1857 death has been mistranscribed but could be Brentford
