And would like some knitting to do. I have just seen this in Yours magazine.

Soldiers in Afghanistan are greatly in need of warm scarves, hats (for sleeping in at night), gloves and mittens.

I have bookmarked this and will come back to it later as I knit scarves and such for the grandkids..
Will have a look at the web site for the patterns.
