The listings you get from most of the BMD sites are fact indexes of where to look. It can be quite hard work combing through the pages you are given - but as Amokavid says the alternative is to comb through all the old records in archive offices yourself. At least this way we can do it in comfort at home (own chair, cup of coffee, in your pyjamas, stop & start when you choose) |
