I've never been one for 'heart throbs' - I refused to collect 'Beatles' cards in my 'youff', never had posters on my wall etc (except for Che Guevara) - and it was his principles I loved, not the man!!

I think the only 'heart throb' I'd give dining room to would be Johnny Depp - and that's only because I don't believe he'd cheat on his wife!!! LOL

Colin Firth would possibly come under the same umbrella, but he does nothing for me, however, his mum's lovely in a 'mumsie' sort of way.

However, I'd love to meet the bloke from 'Shaun of the Dead'- is it Steve Pegg (see I'm so uniterested I can't remember the name of the one star I'd like to meet)!!! LOL

Maggie...he has a house about 5 mins away from where I live...and much as I've tried...I've yet to bump into him. The hotel down the road is where he goes for a drink when he's visiting !!!!!!! he's THAT close and yet I've never met him.!!!

I'd love to talk to him - just 'cos he appears to not conform to the American celeb. 'norm' - in fact I'd like to talk to a lot of
American 'celebs' who choose not to live in USA, and particularly those who choose to live in the UK.

A queue for somethng or another - a celeb comes in, they may have starred in a blockbusting movie, but they have to queue like everyone else - I have a boring job to get back to!!

USA response:
They go to front of queue- why? They've only done a job like the rest of us! - Okay maybe earned in a few months what the rest of us earn in a year, but so have many bankers - and we certainly wouldn't let them go to the front of the queue!!

Orlando Bloom oh and Viggo Mortissen was gorgeous in The Lord of the rings but does nothing for me in the real world!

The guy in that film set in Australia (with Nicole Kidman) - left me cold. So many ladies rave about him - Hugh Jackman - that's the one. Yuk!

The one they had as a teenager was nice, then they replace him with that geek. he looks so ooold and very unattractive. Peter Barlows not bad tho. LOL

I agree with your with most of your list Muffy, I personally don't see the appeal of Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise at all (to me their performances have the phoned in feel as they are relying on their reputation/name) and have never liked Mel Gibson. I am going to have to admit that I do have some Prince cds and LPs, but that's because I like the music.

I like some of Princes' music too Michelle..but i remember him being constantly described as *sex on legs* in the 80s and early 90s and I'm afraid I just can't see it ! x

George Clooney does nothing for me yet he's raved about by lots of women. Mel Gibson is a shifty little man with a massive ego.
I do like Patrick Stewart though, from Star Trek (Dont watch Star Trek but OH does) and happened to notice Patrick one night.
