250ml/8 fl oz hand hot water
5tsp sunflower oil
1 1/2 tsp Walnut oil
1 1/2tsp chopped basil in oil,drained
350g/12oz strong white bread flour
2 1/2tbsp skimmed milk powder
1 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
1 1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/4 tbsp sugar
1 1/4 tsp easy-blend dried yeast
70g/2 1/2 oz walnuts chopped and whole walnuts for garnish
70g/2 1/2 oz of dates chopped small

Remove the bread pan from the bread machine,
Pour the water into the bread pan and add the sunflower oil, walnut oil and basil.

Sprinkle the flour over the liquid so that it is completely covered then sprinkle in the skimmed milk powder and dried herbs.
Place the salt sugar in 2 corners of the pan.
Make an indentation in the flour with your finger without exposing the liquid and add the yeast to it.

Fit the bread pan in the machine and close the lid.
Set the bread machine to the basic setting, medium crust.
When the machine beeps or 5 minutes before the end of kneading add the chopped Walnuts and dates.

When the cycle has finished switch off the machine.
Remove the bread pan with oven gloves and turn out the bread on to a wire rack to cool.
Top with walnuts if desired.
Remove the kneading blade if necessary..

This is from my Bread Machine Book by Linda Doeser.

Good Luck.
