Langley House. Langley Bucks?

Thanks folks. My G.G GFather was an agricultural labourer (as was their lodger) So did wonder if it was a farm house. He was also head of household - Gets more confusing! I haven't seen the original page though. In today's living it would obviously be flats but very unlikely in 1881.
Will try the Slough link - Thanks for that.

Hi Paula
Having looked at the original it looks to me that the inhabitants of Langley House are the Watson's and their servants.
Joseph Stubbs is listed as head and is in another property on the Bath Road as at the bottom in the No of houses column it says 5.
So I think the people listed were not all in one property.
That's how I've interpreted the original but someone else might like to check it out.

It may be a pub or Hotel, what does it say is the occupation of the Head of the household are there any bar staff or chambermaids etc?

Researching:
Frame mainly from. Reading Berkshire. Vos from Netherlands. Nelson and Sowerby from Newcastle. Pickles from Saddleworth and Australia. Bainbridge from Durham. Willmot, Wilmot. Wilmott from Berkshire.

Evenin All. Is anyone else researching in the Langley (Slough) area.

I have come across the address - Langley House, Bath Road. It seems to have had several families living there in the 1881 census. - Including my G.,G. Grandfather & his wife. It wasn't a workhouse, as all the folks there have listed occupations.
Has anyone else any idea what this was? Does it still exist - Or maybe did until more recent times?
