I'm thinking of getting a one month subscription to Ancestry.com - in your experience, is it easy enough to cancel when you choose to?

I took initially the 14 day free trial and cancelled it OK on day 12. You do need to put your card in though and they will debit it if you dont cancel in good time

Thanks Shirley - I've Googled some dubious stories about difficulties in cancelling subs so was a bit worried.

I`ve had a monthly subsrciprion in the past....only had it for about 4 months, paid more per month than if i`d bought it as a yearly sub, but it suited my needs at the time, paid by monthly direct debit, had no problem cancelling when I`d retrieved all the records i wanted at the time...
