Have you ticked anywhere that says 'clear history' I am sure I have read somewhere that it is possible to do this.If it has been activated accidently this might be the result.-jle

Edit
just found my 'tools' if you click on tools, then down to internet options there is a tab called 'general' . It is possible to click on there to remove 'cookies' . It might be that this has been ticked in which case the addresses will be removed each time you use it- unless someone else is using your computer and doesn't want their websites disclosing.
