No Ann said she doesn't need it back. So either pass it on if anyone else wants it or maybe donate it to a charity shop or reference/lirary if you know where it could be used.

It is interesting though.

PS It's also nice to pass on books we have read that might be of interest to others. I had a book about Tilehurst near Reading, I'd looked at it but had no personal connection, but a member in South Africa had family connections so I sent it over to her !!! Not cheap but something she may never have seen otherwise.

I remember reading A Child in the Forest many years ago and loved it. I didn't realise there was a new edition of the book with a changed title - why on earth would they do that?
There was a TV series too, based on the tales, it was wonderful.

Winifred Foley wrote another, similar stories, called No Pipe Dreams For Father, though that too might have had its title changed by now!!
