I am just reading Full Hearts and empty bellies by Winifred Foley, didn't realise when I bought it that it was a re-write of A Child of the Forest (Not sure why they do that and re-name it). However, it bears re-reading as it is a wonderful tale of life in the Forest of dean from 1914. The same author also wrote in and out of the Forest. If anyone would like this copy when I have finished it I will happily post it to you. |
