Hello I was just wondering is there anyway you can find out where your family was living in 1920's-40's. Is there some kind of census or Electoral roll or any other documents that were filled in to show where a family were living? |

There was the Electoral rolls but you need to have a fair idea where they lived to find them. |

Birth, marriage or death certificates should give a location. |

I am trying to find out if my grandfathers family lived in either Pontyclun a village in South Wales or Cowbridge. I know they lived in Loftus Terrace in 1911 in Pontyclun and don't think they would have gone far but I know they did move to cowbridge by 1940. Any other advice? |
