I am in a high street, lots of shops and a market, quite busy. On the pavement I see a 'pair' of shoes and put them on
( beige and brown , strappy sandal type lol) but realise they don't match, so i look around and see another matching shoe lying close plus so which I put on...someone comes up to me and says "I'd really like those" so I take them off and give them to her, then look for the one that matches the remaining sandal, which I find and put on... they aren't as nice (well just plainer) as the ones I gave away...but I think they are almost the same as my original pair.

???? lol

seriously, tho, shoes could possibly have a sexual connection.?
And maybe you always think you are getting' second best'?

I don't really think dreams have any meaning, probably a sub contious recollection of either something that has happened that you have read about or seen in a film.

I had a dream the other day that I got married again....LOL that will never happen, once bitten, twice shy as the saying goes...LOL

Generally speaking I do think dreams have meanings, our sub conscious and all that, but most of the time its very difficult to connect it with the conscious mind.
Not sure I would give those interpretation of dreams books etc., alot of time, its just general,
Only you yourself can know what, if anything it may mean to you.
Must just add, those dreams re events of the day etc., are easily recognisable.
My recurring dream/nightmare, is everywere covered with snakes, lizards and the like and have to pick a route to get through. Another one always comes.!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shiver......

now normally I can place why I have dreamt about things, but the shoes were very prominent...and I'm not that into shoes lol.

The fact that you gave the first pair away shows just how embarassed you are by your illness and you did not want the other lady to suspect anything.

I suggest that you go back there tonight and try your hardest to ignore any shoes that you see lying around. I know it's tough .................... but you just have to do it.

Here's a little trick that might help you.

Try looking around for men's leather jackets. And if you spot any ................. grab a size 44 in brown and run as fast as you can !

I think the fact that I gave the fancier shoes away and kept the pair closest to my original ones perhaps indicates i don't really like to be out of my comfort zone in life? or maybe I just feel i don't really deserve the good things just the things that I am used to.... :( lol

I think it is because you have a new garden path to walk up Rose. You are antisipating all the flowers that are going to come up in that new garden.
