otherwise if you are daft about dogs - run. 'Hachi' - Richard Gere was in it turns out to be a true story of a dog and his owner in Japan in 1930s but this was set in modern USA. Same sort of thing as Greyfriars Bobby. Had I only known I would not have spent the last 20-30 minutes of sobbing and I mean sobbing, not a gentle snivel. Was so traumatised OH had to make me a cuppa. He saw the bit when from he heard me howling - have warned him if he watches it - he watches it alone!!!

No way Chris............i am still traumatised from watching "Greyfriars Bobby!!" many year's ago. Dont even mention "Lassie Come Home!!" :>))

Went off Lassie when I found out 'she' was a 'he'!!!! The dog must have been traumatised as well come to think of it - having to change sex! It is OH's fault I watched it, I did ask if he was going to watch racing but he didn't so it is all his fault.

I never watch films with animals in lol... Lassie, Black Beauty and 'Flicka did for me many years ago ... ordinary weepies I can cope with but not with ickle animals :(
