Thanks Jean, knew those ones already although a friend of mine used to think that lol was lots of love which made it very funny when she used to end her messages with lol. Its very easy for people to forget that others dont automatically know the abbreviations.

Sensible of you to ask, Su..I didnt and was a long time figuring out what was meant by some of the abbreviations, such as psml. Which is short for pi***sed myself laughing. and Lol, whish is laugh out loud.

Hello

Welcome to the boards!

PM means that information has been sent by a personal message because it could contain more sensitive details.

So the sender clicks on the persons name and a box opens for a message to be typed.
