They're not cheap. Susan have you looked through your father's papers. A drivers license, passport or maybe even a birth certificate you may have overlooked. Or maybe another family member may have the information.

I'm sorry Susan - I wouldn't have asked if I'd known. Yes you will have to order his birth certificate. The above information gives you the quarter and year he was born, the district and the Volume and Page No. That's all you need.

no he has passed ,,, so there is no way other than ordering to get exact date ?

You may need to apply for his birth certificate to get his date of birth. Is he still with you or has he passed away.
