Have you found the marriage of William Clarke to Elizabeth Beaumont?

Looked on any census?

Thomas Report 9 Feb 2011 09:09

Hi I wondered if any of you good people out there can help me? My maternal grandfather Thomas Clarke was born February 1890 (died 1979). I do not know where my grandfather was born but most likely England, although it could have been Wales or Ireland. Thomas settled in the Renfrewshire area of Scotland where he married my gran in 1918.
I have looked at my grandparents marraige cert on Scotlands People, the only information I could get re my grandfather was that his parents were William Clarke (Milk Salesman) deceased and his mother was Elizabeth Beaumont deceased.
Now I have left post here before and on other sites as well as doing a lot of searches myself, hoever, with limited success.
I will be interested to see the 1911 Scottish Census when it is published to see if Thomas was in Scotland by then.
Any help with tracing my grandfathers origins will be welcome.
thanks Tommy
