That made me smile, our cat brings in mice and frogs but thankfully never a rat, or at least I have never found one! |

Oh yes,he has given us a mouse infestation in the past.I have even seen him catch a mouse downstairs and take it upstairs to let it go.Something to do with the gene pool and his specialized breeding programme I think. |

Sharron, my cat used to kill the rats outside, thank goodness, it was the mice that she brought in and released live. But she no longer comes in and I do have occasional visits from a rat. I did catch a couple in traps but they have become wary now. I dare not put down poison as the cat might eat any sick or dead rats that are outside and get herself poisoned. You have my sympathy anyway. |

You have a good cat there. Why do they always want to show you how clever they have been. The carers to be fair, were probably not used to what cats do and were shocked, possibly frightened. |
