Help needed with measurements.

As Roger says they will work it out. If anyone ever gives me so many grams or metres - I always have to ask what is that in english please and I will get imperial answers.

Youll need 19 square yards with,15 feet x10 feet

but carpets on the roll comes in different widths,

9ft.

12ft.

13.1ft.


always allow right outside door openings by at least 4 inches.

the shop will tell you,as it depends on the carpet you get.

hi susan

multiply 15 by 10 ( easier to round up) but I think everything is done in metres now so you might have to measure again. to get the area you times length by width.

For a carpet, the room is 15 feet by 9 feet 6 inches, how do i square that so i can go to a shop and not look silly cos i haven't done this before. Many thanks in advance.
