Thanks everyone, Kathleen i have records on there baptisms with foreign names then on census they were down with there English names. Thanks Linda will send you my email address he is a brother of Edward also know as Edwardus. Ignatius Georgius Sice was know as George in some census. Here is a list of there names they were baptised with Josephus (Joseph) Gertudis (Gurtrude) Joannes (John)Eduardus Edward Ignatius Georgius (George). Also the reason i know theres a foreign link is because my Dad and Nan both had dark skin not black but a good spanish/italian sort of colour

Hi Debbie
Just had a look on Ancestry and there is a Family Tree on there that has Edwards father as John Burnham Sice
John's father as Joseph William Sice who was born in St Pancras London

If you want any more please PM me or check Ancestry for yourself.

The 1891 census seems to have been mistranscribed as TICE.

This looks like the person you mention (but the first name is Edward), so I don't think there is any foreign connection here:-

Name: Edward Aloysius Sice
Year of Registration: 1888
Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec
District: Aston (1837-1924)
County: Warwickshire
Volume: 6d

Having been on here for quite a few years but come back every now and again, i decided to search a bit more so as i have some uncommon surnames i decided to look on 192.com to see if any of them lived in Birmingham still and only 2 with that surname came up. So i decided to look into this name and try and see if he was related to me in any way and it turns out he is a cousin to my gran that died a year before i was born so i never met her. The cousin is called Walter and he is 95 years old and i have wrote a letter to him to ask about some of my family history if he knows any or not. I have been told that there is a foreign connection in my family somewhere but have never found it and as his father was called Edwardus Aloysius Sice but was born in England, i am hoping maybe he has the answers. Just had to share all that cos im so excited there is such a strong link to my Grans family that i believe is the missing link to the foreign part of my family.I just hope he is still got his memory and is in good health. I have his phone number too but thought a letter would be better as he is very old.
