I have memory foam pillows and find them great, they arent contoured but they mould where you need it.

Contoured look too restrictive to me,although they come in memory foam at a much higher price than ordinary pillows.

Contoured pillow - friend bought it to help her - it didn't sent it to me for son and he could not get used to it - very expsenive - memory pillow sounds better - that is what she has bought now.

I have tried both and found that neither workd for me, contour one too unyeilding and memory foam one made my head much too hot!! Both found me half way down the bed not on the pillows at all !!!!! Solved the problem since by an assortment of ordinary pillows, much cheaper in the end.

I bought a couple of new beds and had the pillows free, I think memory foam.........gave two to my son as he has a double bed, and he woke in the night thinking he was drowning!..........He was soaked in sweat from his head to his shoulders............he tossed them out and I bought my usual from BHS.

I have a contour pillow but it was too hard for me to use and I ended up giving up after trying for a couple of nights.
