Phew!! It's half term. I'm off work for a week . I have days at my disposal to devote to my family history - trouble is, not sure where to look next as I am now back pre-registration, away from the area my family originate from and unsure of their place of worship. I can't waste the week though.

TOWNEND (Middleton, Todmorden, Liversedge, Heckmondwike, Birstall), DAWSON, SHOWLER

You could go back over the family names making sure that you have a death or follow-up from each person.
I do this from time to time and it's surprising how often you find something after you've given it a rest for a while.

You could post a request look-up on Records board if you have some definite clues to work on and / or you could offer look-ups in your home area. It's surprising how often a record in a register has sparked an idea for where else to look, I find
