For the same reason I cleaned my old cooker before the new one was put in and the old one went to the tip. I also clean round the kitchen as best I can before my cleaners arrive. Because we are programmed to it.

Nor does anyone else do my ironing
But I do have a chaufeur as I never learnt to drive and couldn't face doing so now. Good job I can get about by walking

Ann I did exactly that when we had the new kitchen fitted and we were getting rid of the OLD fridge freezer in the garage, I spentages cleaning it inside and out. For it to be taken to the tip !!!
Maybe we don't want people to think we are dirty??

We are having new basin taps fitted in the bathroom tomorrow so somebody explain to me why I have just spent half an hour cleaning the bathroom including cleaning and polishing the old taps!!!
