I've been back to Ancestry who have agreed to credit my 6 months and upgrade me, good news. Bad news is they have a ''technical hitch'' and have so far only managed to completly cancel me. Needless to say I have e-mailed again plus 2 phone calls.

I suppose at least they told you Wendy. But it is all grab grab with these people isn't it? Hope somebody can help you.

I have been a continuous Premium member of Ancestry since 2003. Having just found that my great grandfather left his wife and family and moved to America with a married lady 24 years younger than him I decided to upgrade to Worldwide.

I was told that if I upgrade I will lose the 6 months free that I received for buying FTM. As this free period has only just started and doesn't run out until August I decided not to upgrade. I have emailed Ancestry and await their reply.

I'm now off to the TTF board to ask for a look up which I would rather have done for myself.
