It's good that you are getting it sorted Jude.
Mind you, once you start looking at ingredients lists, you would be surprised where milk is added.
eg. stock cubes.

Daughter uses non-dairy spreads instead of butter. Readily available at most supermarkets.

Take it steady on that bus. I hope you haven't any bruises.

Hello:o)

Well...l'm allergic to dairy products...not including eggs!! In the old days eggs were what you bought from the dairy along with milk , butter cheese etc....they are from chickens:o))))...lol

So no cows milk, cheese, butter, marg and anything that contains these things for a month!! l go back in 2 weeks to see how l am.
Have just bought some goats cheese and butter, have always liked g/cheese, the butter is gorgeous.
Also allergic to Soya, so none of my lovely milk:o(

Had a right pummelling today and am knackered now, also fell over on the blinky bus, fine now!! lol

Gwyn....thats good your daughter got it sorted. Fortunately my diet won't have to change dramatically. l find suasages bloat my stomach too, they have rusks or something simular in and if l eat potatoes with meat, that does the same!!!!

Daughter has been so much better since she went for allergy testing.

She used to feel uncomfortable after breakfast cereals, so we tried various wheat-free ones hoping that would make a difference.
It turned out that it was none of them, but she was reacting to the cow's milk which she was adding.
She usually has skimmed goats milk now and feels so different.

Hope you find a range of foods that suits you better Jude.

Thanks Liz:o))

You may need to try gluten free breads etc, oats apparently can be a problem until ruled out by tests.
l'm really looking forward to the results, although l hope l don't have to change much or anything (wishful thinking).

Will get backlater with results!!

Interesting Jude, I get the ibs and bloated tum, I think my problem is bread so am cutting back a lot, much as I love it. Am trying the oat bread from Tesco at the mo and that seems better than the seeded sort which I love. I try to eat a lot of oats to keep my cholesterol down.

Hope you get on ok

Jude ..it could be intollerances which wont show as allergies!!!

Intollerance means you have to much yuk from the food left in your body often just removing the food from your diet for 3 months will reduce all these symptons..

Good Luck for tomorrow

Will it be OK to eat eggs then Jude? Sometimes they cause allergies, or have they already been ruled out.
