Glad he survived another year.
Need to check on our "Turtle the Tortoise"(named by the children and written on his box............. with "do not disturb until spring")
He is more than 32 yrs old as we were given him when our first child was born, no idea how old he is 'cos he hasn't grown much in all the time we have had him.
No doubt he will outlive us.

Linda :o)

Who is Harold ?? well he is our 50plus year old tortoise.
He hibernates in his house on the patio bedded down in hay.Usually before now you hear signs he is awake as he moves around in his house (its a large rabbit hutch divided in two for sleeping quarters and raised up on bricks to keep dry off the ground) I was concerned cos hadnt heard him .As the winter had been so cold I seriously worried in case he had died, I was putting off checking him just in case.
On the way out this morning to the docs I was waiting for OH to get the car out of the garage and looking at the fish when I thought I heard a noise from his house. I opened both doors but couldn't see him for all the Hay we pack in so left them open. Coming back home I came through the garage to the garden and zoobity doo He was slowing walking around the patio. A bit unsteady on his feet but at least he made it .

I would hate to lose him now.
