Just watched the top twenty 60's songs as voted by the public.
I was surprised by the results, so thought I would ask your opinion.

What's your favourite?. Still thinking about mine.

Dear Len and All

Hello

Hope you are okay.

What a good post, Len!

Here's a few of mine.

1. "Stand by Me" by Ben E King, 1961.

2. "Out of Time", Chris Farlowe, World Cup Year 1966.

3. "Needles and Pins" and "Every time you walk into the room",
The Searchers.

Most of the songs from the all-girl groups like the Ronnettes.

"End of the World, sung by Skeeter Davis.

Great music that stands the test of time and appeals to a new generation.

Take gentle care
Very best wishes
xx

At 17 by Janis Ian is one of my favs, along with Roberta Flack "The first time ever I saw your face" "A whiter shade of Pale" By Procal Harman (I believe)
"help me make it through the night" by Gladys Knight and Stranger on the shore" by Acker Bilk. So many wonderful songs made in the 60's they will never be forgotten like some of todays rubbish.
