I found a ladies purse outside my bank a while back, had money/credit cards etc, took it in the bank & they knew who it was, they asked me if i had a contact no so i left a business card & they said they would give it to the lady.

Never heard a thing.

Glad you got your wallet back McB :O)

My OH found a purse in town,a couple of weeks ago.It contained a student's bank cards, details and cash..

He handed it in to the local police station, not heard anymore about it but just glad he did the honest thing!

Going back many years one of my sons lost a ten bob note in a wallet. He was fetching something for his dad when he lost it. I phoned the police station without much hope. However, they said that a young lad had been in with it and could they give him our address. A short time later he came to the door with it and I opened the wallet, took out the ten bob note and gave it to him, he deserved it and it was a reward for his honesty. Glad you were as lucky, there are still honest people around. Elaine.

He'll have his reward because he'll feel really good about himself - and rightly so. You're a lucky fellow aren't you:-))

This morning i went to my local A**A supermarket, got a few things & paid with a load of change i seemed to have amassed over the last few days. get back to my workshop & start work & my mobile rings, is that Mr ****** ? yes i said, well this is A**A have you lost anything?, thought for a few seconds how did they get my mobile no, out of my wallet off one of my business cards, yep iv'e lost my wallet.
A young lad had handed it in & nothing was missing, he wouldn't leave a contact so i can't reward him,i was so relieved.
Can't thank him enough.
