I got all nostalgic the other evening, found a Carole King and James Taylor prog on tv, at the Troubadour. The songs brought back many old memories, I sat there bawling my eyes out, o.h. was upstairs asleep and I had the headphones on so I could have it as loud as I wanted and the memories flooded back...... especially when they sang You've got a friend.

'You're so vain' was another one that applied so much to one of my exs lol

this always brings tears to my eyes, although very happily married now for 18 years, I thought I was married for a lifetime when I married my childhood sweetheart and after 24 years I discovered that our marriage was over.

My OH is fully aware as he is a cousin of my first husband!!! and a wonderful man so in the end everything worked out.
