Make that 18! Two more this morning. Have now put a Promised message on Freecycle. I use Freecycle a lot to pass on things I no longer need.

Hi Jean,
Definitely a sign of the times!
I have a friend who has been unemployed for over a year.
A year prior to being unemployed he got rid of his fridge with a small freezer bit at the top as,whils tworking he never used it.
He's regretting it now...
He's realised Iceland is quite cheap.but he's nowhere to put frozen food!!

maggie - currently employed (though underpaid for years) with a small chest freezer, plus under counter fridge freezer!!
Both full to the gunnels at all times.

from the 16 people who would like the under the counter working freezer that I Freecycled! We wanted a larger one, which is the only reason I advertised it. Now I have to choose who gets it, and it will have to go to the one who is able to manhandle it down the steps into a vehicle. So much for the Affluent society we are supposed to live in!
