thank you x I am loving doing this but not sure if I end up linking incorrect relatives as there is very little info from my relatives! We have such a large family yet none of them speak to each other!!!

the registration of births was ,and still is 42 days ie 6 weeks from the birth date, So late Feb and March births could well be reg in April ,Especially as mums were in hospital for 3 weeks after the birth then, and then didnt usually go out for a time . I think thats why the 6 weeks grace was given.

I am a March baby and was reg late April .!!

Thank you, yes it could be, his birth wasn't registered until Apr, May, June of 1936 (not sure how long they had to do that in those days) Canada is certainly a possibility. Will do some more digging.

Thanks again.

I am led to believe that two of my relations moved to Australia or New Zealand in the 1940's or 50's. How do I find where and when they went?

They are Willie Beaumont and John Beaumont, both from Halifax. Willie was born in 1934 and John in 1936.

Any help much appreciated.
