I know you really want to find his birth cert but you have threads already on the boards for this. One thread per family request is the rule. and repeating it wont find any more info .

his mother was in the army and father served in indian army during ww2 but other then that grandad went out as a banker fotr thomas cook many thanks for help so far

Sorry I have looked through all the Consular,Army and at Sea births and I can't find his birth..

Do you know if he had any sisters and brothers that were born in India.???

Also have you searched the trees on here for either of his parents...???

Have you got your late fathers death certificate which will give his date of birth and where he was born...???

It maybe in the Consular oversea births on *Findmypast.com....its a pay per view site.if one is found a copy of birth can be ordered in the same general way from GRO site using the entry ref details found

Did your father die in Portsmouth area?

There is a registration in 1996 for someone born November 1933 .

A definite birthdate might help find his birth certificate.
Were his parents in the Services?

I am trying to trace any information or pictures of my late fathers side of the family please can any one help his mother was mary margerat ann chater and his father was frank berry he was born in india i am despratly trying to trace his birth certifficat and any other information about that side of our family i belive he had dual nationality and he was born either bombay or madras I also know there were relatives in brighton who the family lost contact with a cousin and an auntie please can anybody help many thanks
