Gosh yes they are much better and have more time (first consultation 1 hour) and she later did all sorts of tests to make certain she was treating me for the right condition, it is rare apparently and she has made it part of her teaching program.

thanks mcb and david thats about what i thought, i would haved to go to a independent doctor , ive found a nuffield place near me that does private but thanks again xx

It was well worth the money, I had already seen various Doctors etc, they gave me creams lotions and potions which didn't work, as it turns out what I have is Hypersensitivity to the environment, not curable but with tablets and sun screen all year round I am a lot better.

Full medical with report is £180 at my doctors.
They charge differing fees for examination for HGV etc
Also access to their medical records on you

I went privately to a dermatologist that cost £145 but after that it is on the NHS cos she does both, and I was diagnosed and treated sooner than if I went only NHS. Hope this helps you.

know how much it costs roughly to have a private consultation and full medical.
