Put the clock thingy back as it was, its so frustrating to see "posted 1 min ago" or "60 mins ago" or "yesterday"....you know where you are with the actual time:o)))

Jude, a week or so ago there was a thread about the same thing. Some people who complained to GR were told they were going to add the time again. I dont know when it will happen though. Apparently the change had been made because a 'lot of overseas members' had found the time confusing. I wasnt one of those. I had no trouble converting to NZ time, and some of the other overseas members said the same.

Oh, I see you were on that other thread, it was 1 week ago. You mustnt be impatient, the GR 'experts' are probably trying to decide what else they can change to annoy us.

l spose it goes both ways, there are good and bad for different time zones....but l do find it frustrating all the same....grrrr.

I don't know why there is a problem for overseas members. I have no problem converting to Aussie time.

Sue, apparently (or at least according to GR) a lot of overseas members had problems with the times. They found it confusing. But there are a lot of us, including some in Canada and America, who said they had no problems with it. Some of us are quite at home with maths.

The have just upset me, my membership ran out last week when I tried to renew on my card that I have been using for the last two and half years gr are no longer accepting it, but they have not removed it from their page.

I posted three requests on the GR's fb page re bringing back the time.

The third time, they told me that the time had been changed at the request of international members.

I pointed that I was an international member and had never complained about it, and didn't know any overseas member who had done so


On the FOURTH posting of my question, they said that they would be bringing back the time ...................... but it might take a few weeks



I thought I might give them to the end of this week, and then post another question :)))



I do however fail to see why we have to go to fb to get their attention, and responses from them!!

I agree with you about facebook, Sylvia. I had joined once, but felt uncomfortable about it so I cancelled after a couple of months and wont be going there again, so how do I get the attention of GR? grrrr.

I renewed a couple of weeks ago but had to do it myself as my card had been renewed so the details were different. Luckily it went through ok so I got the continuous renewal price for twelve months.
Perhaps that's what happened with yours Linda.
